Dr. Anthony W. Savage
Dr. Savage is a native of Norfolk and a graduate of Old Dominion University. He is an honor graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Upon graduation he was elected to the OKU Dental Honor Society. He completed his specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Savage has served as an orthodontic/surgery consultant at Portsmouth Naval Hospital and as a member of the board of directors of the Virginia Association of Orthodontist. Dr. Savage and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Virginia Beach with their two children. Dr. Savage enjoys flying, snowboarding and volunteer work.
Dr. George J. Sabol
Dr. Sabol is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS degree in electrical engineering. After completing his undergraduate studies, he received his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. As an honor graduate he was selected to the OKU Dental Honor Society. Dr. Sabol completed his specialty training in orthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Sabol has lectured both locally and nationally on various orthodontic topics including multidisciplinary treatment of complex adult cases. He has served as the orthodontic consultant for a local Cleft Palate clinic. Dr. Sabol has presided as president of both local and state orthodontic societies. He is active in the community as a Rotarian and enjoys volunteering for local charities. Dr. Sabol and his wife, Sherri, reside in Virginia Beach with their three children. As a family they enjoy sailing, skiing/snowboarding and golf.
Dr. Britt E. Visser
Dr. Visser is a native of Virginia Beach and a graduate of the University of Virginia. He then attended the University of North Carolina’s School of Dentistry where he was selected to the OKU Dental Honor Society. Dr. Visser received his specialty training in orthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He has served on several committees for the SAO and has been President of the local Orthodontic society and the VCU Orthodontic Foundation. Dr. Visser has lectured on topics from the biomechanics of orthodontics to new treatment techniques. He and his wife, Roxanne, reside in Virginia Beach with their two daughters. He enjoys playing tennis, golf and volleyball. His father, Dr. Roger Visser, began our practice in 1961 and practiced for 33 years before retiring in 1994.
Because we pride ourselves in providing the best possible care for our patients, the doctors average over 100 hours of continuing education each year. This allows us to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontics. (The recent state requirement for a practicing dentist is only 15 hours a year.)
