Appointment Coordinators

As Front Desk Manager, I find my job to be not only challenging but rewarding at the same time. My goal is not only to meet but exceed our patients’ expectations.

Born in Baltimore, I moved to Virginia Beach in 1982 with my husband Joe and daughter Stacey. Since then, our family has grown with the addition of my son-in-law Tom and two beautiful grandchildren. I have an Italian greyhound Mia and a bird named Fiona. Between kids, grandkids, a dog and a bird, it’s loads of fun and there’s never a dull moment. I am truly blessed. Life is good.

I started my career at SSV in 1989 and I get to work with three amazing doctors and an awesome staff who are truly dedicated to patient care and creating beautiful smiles every day.

I have been with the practice since 1996 as one of their patient coordinators. I can truly say that being part of SSV is like being with family. The care and concern we have for each other is remarkable. That translates over to our patients and their care, because if you love what you do, then it can’t help but show in your work.

I am happily married to a wonderful man, and have a beautiful daughter and sweet granddaughter. To say I am blessed with a wonderful family is truly an understatement. One of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time is line dancing with my husband. We really love sharing this together and have even been in some competitions. No worries on us being on Dancing with the Stars, but you never know… I also like camping, crocheting, and spending time with my Lord Jesus.

I moved here from Georgia in 2009 with my husband, Philip, who I think the world of. We were married in 2004 and have two awesome children, Ethan and Lilia. We also have 2 Olde English Bulldogges, Bentley & Minnie, who are practically our children as well. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baking and doing numerous arts & crafts.

I became part of the SSV team in 2011 as a clinical assistant. In 2013, I transitioned to a patient coordinator and it was a great fit for me. I just couldn’t resist the opportunity to talk on the phone all day! I can honestly say that this has been the most professional and customer service oriented business that I’ve had the pleasure to work for. For me personally, the thing that sets this office apart from all the rest is that we truly are a “family.”
