Hi, I’m Scotlyn and I relocated here from a small town in Georgia. I have three cats, that I adore, Nikko, Sydney & Wednesday. I joined this wonderful practice in 2016, and I just love this field of dentistry. I am so excited about being part of such a professional, caring, and friendly team. December of 2024 I became a new mom, to my son, Rio. He is the best baby in the world and I truly feel blessed by Jesus for this sweet child. I love the Lord and he is my Saviour.

Hi I’m Velvet and I am fairly new to the world of dentistry and particularly Orthodontics. I graduated from the Foleck Center Dental Assisting program in April of 2021.Outside of working with an amazing team of women and 3 awesome doctors, you can find me curled up reading a good book, spending a lot of time with my sassy, diva 4 year old daughter, and cooking up new recipes. I am also into makeup and have a successful hair business that I do in my spare time. So, life is very full right now. I love to laugh, so you will usually find me cracking jokes in the office so others can laugh along with me.

My name is Amanda, and I was born and raised here in Virginia Beach. I am married with a precious daughter and I am also a dog mom of two pups. I enjoy spending time with my family, and love making people smile and laugh.I am blessed to be a part of the SSV family. I have actually been in the dental industry for 11 years now, but this is my first time in orthodontics and I must admit that it has been a dream to become a part of this specialty field. It’s been a wonderful experience.

Hi my name is Takeyah, but most people call me TK. I am originally from Boston but grew up here in Virginia. I am married with a son and enjoy spending time with my family, making lifelong memories. I love the beach, and being active in my church. I love learning new things especially when it comes to science or dentistry.I am a graduate of Virginia State University and have been in the dental field since 2014, and orthodontics since 2016. I am happy to be a part of the SSV team. I love assisting the doctors in creating beautiful smiles and helping to make my patients feel comfortable.

My name is Gabi and I started with SSV in 2023. I formerly worked in retail but then had this amazing opportunity to change fields and begin a career in orthodontics. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have made so far, and love my bosses and all the team. I also love camping, gardening and must admit I truly adore my furry kittens, Ember and Freya. They do make my life more enjoyable. With that said, the most wonderful thing happened to me in December of 2024. I welcomed my son, Rafe, into the world and I truly am blessed to be his mama.

Hi! I’m Meg, I am new to the SSV team and orthodontics but not to dentistry! I did 5 years of general prior to coming to orthodontics & I’d have to say I definitely have found my niche. It is such a blessing to work for amazing doctors who treat you as if you’re family. I enjoy working with the team who have become friends that I hope to keep for a lifetime! My favorite part of my job is seeing people’s confidence after they get their new smiles!I am a navy brat born in Seattle Washington but consider Virginia Beach home. I’m a beach gal and couldn’t live without it. I am married with two dogs a German shepherd named, Apollo, and a labradoodle named, Wren. I am extremely outgoing and always on the move either hiking, going thrifting or playing with my fur babies but you could also find me binge reading a good book for hours.

Hi my name is Sarah and I started with SSV in May of 2024. I have been in Orthodontics since 2011. I love my job and am thankful for the opportunity to work with such a great team. It is so rewarding watching the transformation of my patients and seeing the improvement of their smiles.

I am originally from Rhode Island. I enjoy being outside, running, hiking, snowboarding, kayaking just to name a few. I enjoy walks with my boyfriend, and love to bake….a little secret I have started my sour dough journey.

Hi my name is Diamond and I started with this practice in February of 2025. I have quickly found that this team is very welcoming and the office very family oriented. I started in dentistry in 2018 and realized that my passion was for orthodontics specifically. I like seeing the results when my patients complete their treatment. The transformation of a smile is very rewarding.

I am a Virginia Beach native and the mom of a beautiful daughter, Nevaeh. I love to cook and really have a knack for anything beauty related, such as hair, makeup, nails, etc…I enjoy going to the beach and love reading especially mysteries.

Hi my name is Liz and I am a native to Virginia Beach. Proud graduate of Kellam High School, GO KNIGHTS!!! After high school I did a few jobs but then landed into the world of orthodontics in 2023 and in 2025 I was hired as a clinical assistant with SSV. I never dreamed I would work with such an amazing team of women. The doctors treat us so well both professionally on the job and personally with the fun things we get to do outside the office. Adventure park, boat rides, anniversary gifts, just to name a few.

I spend a lot of time with my family, which includes my wonderful 94 year old grandmother, and you can find me boating on the Nansemond River quite a few weekends. I love walking trails and truth be told I am a bit of a bird lover. I will finish by saying that music and food are my jam!

Hi! I’m Taylor and new to the SSV team, but not to orthodontics. I started in the field back in 2014 for a few years and then I joined the Marines Corp. I completed my Bachelors at VCU, and then worked as a licensed cosmetologist. A Jill of all trades if you will! I came back to orthodontics because I truly missed making people feel good about their smile and themselves.

I spend most of my free time with my husband, daughter and our two dogs and cat.
